Thermoplastic polymers

This theme aims to develop and characterize new semi-crystalline thermoplastic polymers and (nano)composites, as well as the study of their physico-chemical and mechanical properties. The crystal formation process conditions the macroscopic properties of materials in general and of semi-crystalline polymers in particular. Thus, a new approach that allows a better understanding of the links between nucleation, glass transition and crystallization has been developed. These studies find concrete applications during the implementation of polymers and composites by manufacturers.
