The Photoactive Molecular Probes research group currently consists of two members: Professor Anthony ROMIEU and Mr. Mathieu FRANCK (engineer, ENSCR; mathieu.franck@univ-cotedazur.fr), who is currently completing his M2 Research Internship (University of Rennes) and will begin a PhD on October 1, 2026, funded through the 2026-2029 ANR PRC project WEAPONS.

The group also includes Professor Alain BURGER (Professor Emeritus; alain.burger@univ-cotedazur.fr) and Mr. Aristide COYNEL (engineer, ENSCMu; aristide.coynel@ube.fr), who is currently pursuing his PhD at the University of Burgundy Europe (ICMUB, SMol research team, 2025-2028) as part of the FEDER project ADEPT. Professor Anthony ROMIEU co-supervises Aristide COYNEL's doctoral research remotely on a research topic focused on the development of FRET-based probes for the detection of enzymatic biomarkers.
